High-Level Field Inspection of Pond Rejuvenation Works in Kurukshetra.
On 22 April 2026, the EVC, HPA, along with officials from the executing departments, carried out a field inspection of pond sites in Gudah and Gudhi Blocks of District Kurukshetra.
Undertaken on the recommendations of the CM Camp Office, the visit provided an on-ground assessment of ongoing pond rejuvenation works. The team reviewed the quality of execution and evaluated the effectiveness of water conservation interventions aimed at restoring and strengthening the ecological sustainability of these vital water bodies.
The inspection reaffirmed the commitment towards sustainable water management, improved groundwater recharge, and long-term environmental resilience in the region.
