HPWWMA Observes World Water Day with Pond Restoration Drive.

Dhamauli Uparli, March 22: On the occasion of World Water Day, the Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority (HPWWMA) organized a one-day field visit to the village Dhamauli Uparli, demonstrating its commitment to water conservation and sustainable pond management.

Under the leadership of Principal Advisor to Chairperson (PAC) Sh. Prabhaker Kumar Verma, the entire HPWWMA staff actively participated in an interactive survey with the local villagers. The team engaged with the natives to assess the condition of the village pond, discussing ways to improve its upkeep and seeking their inputs on ongoing conservation efforts.

The primary objective of this initiative was to sensitize the community on the importance of water conservation and encourage collective responsibility in maintaining local water bodies. Villagers were urged to adopt sustainable practices to preserve their pond, ensuring its long-term ecological health.

This initiative by HPWWMA reflects its dedication to revitalizing Haryana’s ponds and fostering community-driven conservation efforts for a water-secure future.
