Inspection of Pond Sites in Ladwa, District Kurukshetra 30 September 2026.
The Executive Vice Chairperson, HPWWMA, Sh. Vimal Goswami, inspected various pond sites in Ladwa, District Kurukshetra, in the presence of the OSD to Hon’ble Chief Minister and officials of the concerned departments.
During the visit, the restoration and development of Model Ponds/Amrit Sarovar were reviewed. The inspection covered the ongoing MICADA solar-powered micro-irrigation plant, retention of the pond’s natural island, provision of pathways, solar lighting, fencing and beautification works, and wastewater treatment technology.
Measures for preventing garbage dumping and maintaining cleanliness were also discussed. Pisciculture activities generating annual income for the Gram Panchayat were also noted.
