Inspection of Pond Site at Bilaspur, District Yamunanagar 05 October 2026.
The Executive Vice Chairperson, HPWWMA, along with officials of HPWWMA and the concerned departments, inspected the pond site at Bilaspur, District Yamunanagar.
During the inspection, key directions were issued regarding proper demarcation of pond land, garbage management, wastewater treatment through Seechewal Model Technology, where feasible, and regular maintenance and upkeep of the pond.
MICADA was directed to examine the feasibility of a solar-powered micro-irrigation plant after restoration. The feasibility of developing the pond for tourism purposes was also discussed.
